(I know its an old topic, but it came up in a google search for "pin fortnite to windows 11 taskbar") What ended up working for me was to open Fortnite, alt-tab out, right-click the Fortnite icon on the task bar and Pin to taskbar, then right-click the same Fortnite icon again, right-click the Fortnite icon in the submenu, right-click Properties, and on the Shortcut tab, change the file name of Target so it ends with FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_EAC.exe instead of just FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe. You should do this for all the games you don't already have a desktop shortcut for. From this menu, select "Create a Shortcut". Click on this icon, and it should bring up a drop-down menu. Underneath the game cover art, and to the right of the title, you should see a little three dot icon. If you don't have one, open the Epic Games launcher and navigate to the library tab. I've included images of each step inside spoilers in case the instructions are confusing.įirst, you'll need to have a desktop shortcut made for the game. This tutorial will show you the step by step process of doing this. Fortunately, there is a pretty easy workaround to this problem that will allow you to manually pin games from the Epic Games Launcher to your start menu. And if you're like me, you like having access to all your games from your start menu, rather than cluttering up your desktop with shortcuts. If you use the Epic Games Launcher, you may have noticed that it does not allow you to pin any of your games to start.

My boys do homework at this table, or at the kitchen bar and are often in need of markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, note cards, etc. In case you’re wondering, because I’m certain someone may ask, I’m using our new breakfast room cube storage to store a bunch of craft supplies and kitchen accessories. Click on any of the “here’s” to read the tutorials and tips on how to style shelves like a pro! I’m looking forward to changing the look of the shelves with the seasons and switching things around when the fancy strikes! I love to style shelves and have written several posts on how to style shelves here, here, here, and here. The cute wood bark charger is from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart and can be found here. My poor kitchen cabinets and attic were holding plenty already. It’s so wonderful to have more storage space and a place to display my dishware! I didn’t buy anything to place on the shelves. He wasn’t thrilled with the request, but as always he did a beautiful job! The room is just shy of 10 feet long, so we used 1x8x10 boards with spacers to achieve the look I wanted. Ten foot boards are too heavy for me to install without help so I sheepishly asked Matt if he’d gift them to me for Christmas. I wanted to use real wood in here instead of MDF and I wanted long, uncut planks without any seams. Matt strongly dislikes to do any DIY, so I’m always hesitant to ask for his help. My beautiful new shiplap walls were my Christmas present from my husband! He installed the shiplap and I did everything else in the room. The other accessories are items I’ve collected over time from thrift stores or home stores. The chicken wire lantern, acacia paddle board, and marble cake stand are all from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart. Therefore, I added these open shelves using brackets and a stained 1x10x10 board cut into four equal lengths. Our previous kitchen had some makeshift open shelving that I loved to style and was really missing. I still need a cushion for the top of the bench, but Eowyn doesn’t seem to mind my makeshift cushion one bit! □ In typical Pomeranian fashion, she made herself right at home as soon as I placed a luxurious throw on the bench. I replaced the hardware on the drawer fronts to give them a more custom look. The drawers in the two square cube units are from another store known for their cube storage *wink* and work perfectly with the Better Homes & Gardens cube storage units. My handwriting is atrocious, so I’m actually waiting to find the box containing my letter stamps! As you can see, I still need to label all of the drawers. Here is what the room started with in our “before”: This month’s challenge was just the incentive I needed to start the new year off right and finally finish this room! I am so thrilled with how it turned it, and I think you’ll love how obtainable this look is to achieve. I’ve had a vision for this room since the day we moved in but kept putting off doing the hard work. Please double check your measurements before trying. **IMPORTANT Update : Please note that the updated BHG cube shelving may not be the exact size as the IKEA KALLAX cube shelving! A reader wrote to tell me she tried this hack and the IKEA drawer fronts did not fit her shelving. If you are anything like me, then the only problem with this task is deciding which room to tackle first and where to even begin! I have so many spaces in the new home begging for better organization, but our breakfast room was screaming the loudest for a makeover. Sound like fun? It is! Our informal dining room, affectionately referred to as the breakfast room, received a much-needed makeover. Fun fact: there was a strange bout of an Indian summer the week before our shoot, with the Japanese capital reaching highs of 28☌ despite it being early in December. Such is the 26-year-old’s infectious charm her sunny disposition was also a welcome contrast to the sobering downpour that unexpectedly enshrouded Tokyo. “It’s actually pronounced dō itashimashite, but if you say it fast enough to an English speaker, it sounds like you’re telling someone not to touch your moustache!” Laughter ensued, and needless to say, I’ve been using that phrase ever since. She was merely teaching me how to say “you’re welcome” phonetically in her native Japanese. But before you jump to any conclusions, no, the Japanese supermodel doesn’t have a moustache-nor was I touching one. “Don’t touch my moustache!” Hikari Mori exclaimed, as I was getting her dressed in an origami-esque ’80s cocktail dress by Louis Vuitton for Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia’s February 2019 cover story. No claims of superiority, just loads of honest curiosity and a willingness to have all of our assumptions and preconceptions shattered.Dress earrings bracelets and rings, all from Louis Vuitton For three days we’d train and ask questions and then train and ask questions some more. A particularly thick-skulled judoka who was sure he’d seen pretty much all there was to see in Japan got schooled in just how limited his experience really was. Lots of people from all sorts of arts developed an interest in jodo. I saw sword people conclude that some of those “dinky” weapons weren’t so silly after all. I saw experienced aikidoka go from thinking they knew something about swords to deciding that they really needed to take up a sword art. Afterwards we’d all go out for dinner and quiz each other about everything we’d seen and try to get answers to some of the million or so questions that leapt into our minds while we were trying all of this new stuff. In one weekend I got to do jujutsu and naginata, a couple of styles of iai, maybe some jutte or spear, and a little kyudo. He invited all sorts of senior teachers from various koryu to Guelph, and we’d each teach a 2 hour introduction to some aspect of our art. Kim Taylor used to host the best cross-training event I’ve ever been to. Just doing something outside your specialty can open your eyes and clear out myths. They enjoy my attempts to counter attack in the middle of their techniques, and the challenge of finding ways to stop me. Since then I’ve gotten to know some great aikidoka with exposure to judo. That’s not a problem with aikido, it’s a problem with training. I didn’t know about that assumption, so I surprised quite a few people when I counter attacked while being thrown or even as I was being slammed into the mat. Many people in aikido assumed that once uke was off balance and being thrown, the action was over. That became interesting for me when I started training with aikidoka from time to time. It’s over when both people agree it’s over, especially in dojo randori where you’re not competing for points. For example, we don’t make an assumption about when the fight is over. Judoka make all sorts of assumptions for training purposes that are silly outside the dojo but are perfectly reasonable from the perspective of making regular training safe. Action must be appropriate to the situation.Ī little cross training can open up whole vistas of realizations. Here's where multicore CPUs start to complicate our understanding of desktop processors. But if you've been paying attention to recent CPU developments, you might remember that the X6800 actually has a faster clock speed, coming in at 2.93GHz. That's, logically, twice as much cache as the dual-core Extreme X6800 chip. The key specs of the Core 2 Extreme QX6700 are its 2.66GHz-per-core clock speed, and its two separate 4MB L2 cache allotments-giving each pair of cores a 4MB pool to draw upon. If you must know all the ins and outs, we will refer you to our Alpha blog post that breaks down the bullet points. The big news is doubling the number of cores to four the rest of the chip architecture remains the same for the most part. We spared you the gory chip architecture details in our review of Intel's Core 2 Extreme X6800, and we're going to do the same here. You might not need a PC with such a pricey chip now, but our testing found that for applications and scenarios that will put it to the test, Intel's new quad-core chip will give you an absolute boost in performance. At $999, the Core 2 Extreme QX6700 will likely end up in only the most expensive of desktops, but the fact is that the multicore revolution is fully upon us. We found that with certain applications, Apple's high-end designer box is faster. We suspect that professionals and forward-looking gamers will be most interested in quad-core chips, and of the pros, the digital-media editors might not want to get rid of their Mac Pro's just yet. And if you're still stuck doing only one thing at a time on your desktop, the QX6700's promise for single-application performance is large, as well. Don't let the "Core 2" fool you (great job, Intel Product Naming department), this new chip has four physical processing cores in it that make it a multitasking beast. Once I changed my username after posting this thread the unrecognized device logins stopped. Lots of people have posted since last night describing the same thing: weird notification regarding a device being added only for users to login and see logins from devices they don’t recognize.Ĭhange your username AND password. kind of, I don't really have any technical knowledge. Still not really sure what's going on but I checked the login activity again the unfamiliar device seemed to access my account at a very regular rate, 4-5 times a day, which lends itself to the budgeting app theory. There was a notification asking me to fix my checking account information but it wasn't dated so it's impossible to tell if it's current or super old. By logging in I re-opened it which means it was closed, but my banking information was still there. Mint had my bank account listed but the activity for it had not been updated since 2019. Digital banking then transferred me to the online fraud department who went straight to voicemail. They transferred me to digital banking who gave me bad information which wasn't encouraging. No e-mails/texts or anything from Truist about security either.Įdited to add that I have 2 Factor enabled and never received something for this other device, which is the same type of computer I use but a totally different browser: a version of Chrome that was release September of last year.Ĭalled Truist, regular customer service couldn't help me get anymore information. Why would someone hack a bank account just to login multiple times a day without actually doing something? I'm so creeped out. It hasn't gone anywhere weird and everything looks right in that regard. What's weirder still, though, is that none of my money has been touched. Low and behold, there are logins happening MANY times over the span of a month (only goes back 30 days) from an unrecognized device and browser at weird times that definitely could not be attributed to me. That's weird because I updated my password yesterday successfully and hadn't logged in since.Īfter resetting my password I looked at my login history in the app. Upon logging in today, I got an error saying my account was locked due to too many invalid login attempts. It will come as no surprise that Truist has been in shambles since the merger. I recently changed my password for my Truist account. I am not necessarily posting this for a solution/IT support, but to see if anyone has experienced something similar and to see why anyone would do this. |
